Christine McQueen’s Mini-Me!!!
I had the CUTEST patient come in recently asking me to inject her lips so that they were “like that girl’s lips who is always on your blog” ie Christine McQueen!!!
This patient is young, beautiful and had the most awesome lips to start with, which to me is big pressure, because I really don’t want to touch them. Often I have to improve on what I would call perfection, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I’m here to make people happy, not to impose my beauty ideals on them (although I will always attempt to do that!)

The patient immediately after 1ml. I placed it to give her the proportion that she wanted ie larger upper lip compared to lower lip
Swelling the day after injections of 1ml dermal filler
2 days after lip injections with 1ml dermal filler (the patient is happy with this size, but they are going to go down!)
Does she want the “Reverse Phi“, the ratio of 1.618:1 upper lip to lower lip? Phi is the “golden ratio”, which is a proportion that artists and architects believe to be aesthetically pleasing.

I’ll be interested to see what Christine thinks of this blog post:). Knowing her, I’m pretty sure it will make her want to get her lips done again!
